TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RENTAL CONTRACT

The rental contract is between the guest and the owner of the property for which the holiday stay accommodation booking is made, and is subject to the terms and conditions herein.  The contract for accommodation shall not be effective until Bush to Bay Holiday Stays sends guest written confirmation of the booking.

The guest acknowledges that Bush to Bay Holiday Stays acts as a booking agent for the owner, not as a principal.

Bush to Bay Holiday Stays reserves the right to revoke or refuse to honour any holiday accommodation booking at any time, before or during the holiday rental period, which may in their opinion and at their sole discretion be unsuitable for the property.

Bush to Bay Holiday Stays homes are not to be used for any parties, weddings or other functions without written permission from management. 

The owner and agent accept no responsibility for any actions, incidents, loss, damage or injury sustained during your stay at the premises.  The guest accepts and agrees that a condition of the stay and use of facilities at the property is that all guests indemnify and agree to keep indemnified the Owner and Agent against all liability whatsoever and howsoever arising including but not limited to any actions, incidents, loss or injury sustained during their stay at the property.

PAYMENT TERMS

The following payments apply for this booking:

  • Bond – (Credit card details will be held)
  • Deposit: 30% due within 48 hours of booking being accepted
  • Balance: 70% due 30 days before stay commences

Payment of deposit: Once we accept your booking a deposit must be paid AND received by us in order to secure the booking. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt by us of the deposit. Should Bush to Bay Holiday Stays cancel your booking due to non or late payment of a deposit then any deposit received by us from you will be refunded in full.

A confirmation email will be sent by Bush to Bay Holidays Stays to confirm acceptance of your booking.

Late payments: The balance due must be received on or before its due date. If your payment fails to reach us by the due date we may choose to cancel your booking with or without notice to you, and make the property available to others. Cancellation charges apply (see below).

All confirmed bookings are required to advise a current credit card number, this is held on file as security against the booking. Visa and MasterCard only.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others.

Within 30 days of arrival date cancellation or reduction of nights will incur a 100% cancellation fee including the booking fee. Any other amendments may incur a $25 charge.  No shows and cancellations received on the day of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Outside of 30 days of arrival date will incur a fee of 10% of the total booking charge plus the booking fee. Any other amendments may incur a $25 charge.

Should WE cancel the booking due to YOUR NON-PAYMENT: Should any of your payments fail to reach us by their due date we have the right to cancel the booking with or without providing you with notice. Under these circumstances our standard cancellation charges apply.

Cancellation by Owner/Manager

If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for use, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your money in full. 

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:

Check in time is from 2.00pm and all properties must be vacated by 11.00am on departure day.  Please advise if you are arriving after 10pm.

Please advise our office if you are arriving after 10pm.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES:

The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the booking, and must take all reasonable care of the house.  Respect for neighbours in regards to noise and cars must be considered, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if we receive complaints.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were on arrival. 

Any damage or breakage to any part of the property or any of the chattels therein shall be reported to Bush to Bay Holiday Stays as soon as practicable after the damage occurs.  The guest will be liable for any breakages or damages caused to the property during their stay and the cost of any repair or replacement therefor shall be payable from the guests bond at the end of the stay.

If the property requires extra cleaning you could be charged $30.00 per hour for this.

BBQ’s must be left clean, if not a $30.00 fee will be charged for cleaning.

ALL rubbish must be removed from the property on departure; failure to do this will result in a minimum charge of $30.00  for the disposal of this.

You will have paid a compulsory cleaning fee which covers a general service clean.

Any properties that provide kayaks, bicycles, spa pools and/or swimming pools are to be used at your own risk. Bush to Bay Holiday Stays Limited accepts no responsibility for any injury or loss to any Guest or their belongings.

OCCUPANTS:

The maximum number of people occupying a holiday home is stated on the booking information. This is the maximum number of people that are to be at the property and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. We reserve the right to terminate the contract should the maximum number of guest be exceeded.

TENTS AND CARAVANS:

Tents and caravans are expressly prohibited unless prior consent is given in writing.

ANIMALS:

Animals are expressly prohibited on and in properties of owners that specifically do not allow animals.

Some owners will allow pets, however this must be arranged at the time of making the booking, and further pet terms would need to be agreed.

SMOKING:

All holiday homes are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside but please ensure you remove all butts. If you do smoke inside there will be a charge of $150.00 to remove the odour.

HIRE ITEMS

The hire of linen, nursery items, etc can be arranged at the time of booking.

 

Bush to Bay Holiday Stays Ltd reserve the right to further charge the credit card in relation to the following

  • Cleaning/and or putting away of crockery, cutlery pots, pans etc. (at cost)
  • Removal of excess garbage, boxes, bottles etc. (at cost)
  • Damages/ breakages to the property (at cost)
  • Cleaning fee for unclean BBQs $50.00
  • After hours key lock out $50.00
  • Replacement of lost keys, remote controls (at cost)
  • Any other incidental charges that may be incurred as per our Terms and Conditions which shall be deemed to form part of this agreement
